Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra (PKK), founded in 1974 in Hooghly, West Bengal, is dedicated to creating a world where children and adults with disabilities can thrive with dignity and respect. Working with communities in West Bengal and Odisha, PKK empowers lives through inclusive education, clinical interventions, and livelihood initiatives. For decades, we’ve been a steadfast advocate for equality, fostering transformative change for a more compassionate and inclusive society.
Our Mission:
Educate, support, assist children with disabilities and their families to enable them to participate in and access every social, educational, cultural activity in society in an inclusive manner and establish their rights in the society.
Our Vision:
We aim towards and look forward to a time when the community will become inclusive; believe, encourage and practice equal opportunities for all; value and respect its entire citizen irrespective of caste, colour, religion, and the state of physical, intellectual and sensory abilities.
